Ignore the O9A shit, it's just a cool picture.
Recently, Hessian made a good article detailing why White Nationalists should consider joining the military - a dissenting opinion within the wider Right. Although I generally agree with his position, I do feel compelled to bring up the counterpoint in order to add a bit of nuance.
For reference, Hess is a longtime friend of mine. I don't remember when we first met, but we’ve been mutuals on iFunny for several years. Further, I have a very similar background to him as an active duty Infantryman in the USMC. A lot of stuff in his article is accurate to my own experience.
To start out with, I am also biased. Joining the military was an act of fate for me. I don't remember ever making the decision, I always remember watching Black Hawk Down or Platoon & thinking “yeah that's gonna be me.” Maybe it was it GWOT era propaganda, maybe it was the thousands of hours I put into CoD as a kid. Regardless, my draw towards the military is seemingly innate. I also generally don't regret it. I wish I would've joined a bit a later, as the 2022 Russo-Ukrainian War popped off months after I went to boot camp, but I couldn't have known that at the time. My 18 year old self probably wouldn't have faired too well either.
Regardless, I have a very love-hate relationship with the Marine Corps. I love the Infantry, the history, the traditions. Reading Marine Corps history is like reading ancient myths, full of chauvinism, poetic language, a meant to inspire you to live up to the deeds of your forefathers. I generally don't put much weight in superficial things like uniforms, but it is cool to earn such an elegant & anachronistic piece of clothing. I also love the outright superiority the USMC has in terms of Infantry combat. I’ve trained with several foreign & US units. Marines are far better than basically any large military formation. The only exceptions are small, specialized units like the Royal Marines & various SOF units. The regular Army units don't even come close.
What I hate about the Marine Corps is that it suffers from the same problems as the wider military, and System at large. Currently, my unit's career planner is an overweight, belligerently homosexual black man. My chaplain is some Presbyterian lesbo. For the most part, the ranks of the Infantry Officers remain fairly respectable & competent. The average Marine has gotten significantly worse over the short period of time that I’ve been in. The difference between people a little senior to me & the boots coming out of SOI is insane. Standards are dropping - and taking MC culture & combat effectiveness with them.
My biggest issue with the Corps today is it's failure to adapt. I am a drone operator, one of the first in the Infantry. The drones the military uses are entirely useless when you look at the reality on the ground in Ukraine. The future is cheap, 3D printed drones with a HEAT round zip tied to it. The MC seems to have a notion that a $20,000 quadcopter with mid camera quality & poor battery life will somehow be useful in anyway. I fucking hate the SkyDio. This is just a single instance, I could go on but that isn't the point of this article.
There are a number of White Nats in the military. Every now & then we’ll recognize each other via dog whistles or coded jokes. Its not super common, but we're around. Our types tend to gravitate towards military & LE work in general. Hess is also right that the whole “Countering Extremism in the Ranks” thing is mostly fluff. Counterintel has neither the means nor the motivation to do such a thing. They're also pretty bad at it, I managed to make it through MEPS & gain a security clearance despite being known to the FBI as an AWD member. The System bureaucracy clearly isn't very good at communicating amongst themselves.
That being said, I generally don't recommend WNs join the military. The biggest reason is that it heavily impedes your ability to take action, whether you're a militant SEIGE type or wanna carry around a flag with Patriot Front. Not only does the military require a lot more energy in the day to day, you generally have a lot to lose if you get doxxed or something.
Another reason is you're generally forced to be among the mongrels. I’m stationed on the West Coast right now, so I may be biased, but the bulk of Marines around here are some flavor of spic. Some blacks, a good chunk of actual Whites, but way too many spics. While the military generally gets Whiter as you get better (most brownoids don't join cool MOS’ like Infantry. Minorities in SOF units are almost comically rare.), you can't really escape these untermensch. It's quite draining.
The lifestyle is generally appealing, but that's really not why people advocate joining the military. The real thing is training. The training isn't worth it. After your first deployment cycle, you will have learned everything you need that’s relevant to paramilitary operations. Anything past that, you may get some leadership experience & hone those skills. But for the most part it just shifts towards skills that only apply to the conventional US military, like orders writing, air support, coordinating assets, etc. Not stuff that will be very useful outside the conventional armed forces. If you have absolutely no background in military matters, and have no one to train you on them, you may have a decent case to spend a couple years with the ZOG army.
On that, there's already plenty of very good people with military experience in the movement that can probably train you better than bumbling around the barracks will. A lot of dudes from AWD were prior military & passed that knowledge on quite well. More importantly, they translated to insurgency & paramilitary language. 9 lines won't save you in the Collapse, patrolling fundamentals will. If possible, I would advise you seek out people with this experience to learn from. Networking is key.
If you do feel the need, or desire, to join the military then do it with a revolutionary attitude. The only MOS’ you should consider are Infantry, Intel, Medical stuff, PSYOPS, or SOF. If you wanna try out to be SOF, pick a unit that's actually useful, meaning Army Special Forces (Green Berets). Unconventional warfare experts are exactly what we need. JTACs are useless to us, and there's nothing a SEAL or Ranger can teach that can't be taught by a grunt. The rest of their jobs are only viable in massive professional military context. Any non-combat MOS is something that can be learned in a trade school or something.
Lastly, if you have something to prove about being a warrior or something, follow me & fly to Ukraine. They let you leave after 6 months anyway. You’ll get pretty good training (often surpassing NATO standards) & experience in an actual modern war.
Hail Victory.
I wanted to be a marine from my first memories. I think it's because of an older cousin of mine who was a chaplain in the Marines, and he always wore his uniform at family gatherings. He looked so sharp. I spent so much of my young life thinking about, planning, and training for my life in the Marines. I wanted it for a career.
When I was 17, literally my whole life got turned upside down. Two old vets and one close friend convinced me 9/11 was an inside job and that I shouldn't join. Not only did that put me on the path towards deeper conspiracies (and eventually to WN when the rabbit hole got too deep) - it also put me on a path towards liberal hippiedom. For many years I traveled and played music, preaching conspiracies and denouncing the military. I stopped training, started smoking.
When I became fully WN though, I immediately went back to my prior thinking. I sometimes think I should join, for the discipline and schedule, money and benefits, and ofc simple training. I generally think I dodged a bullet. I would probably be a system pig if not for my conspiracy journeys in lalaland with pot smoking hippies. But Ive been working to getting back to square one.
I know two close friends who joined the Marines and both are pretty lame now. I don't think this has to be the case. /Our guys/ can and should utilize the military while it's here. It used be our domain anyways. I hate that we gave so much ground to the beans and nogs and fags
Good points, I agree that much of the tactical side can be taught by others with the experience, but a lot of the intel side does require some time in and moving about to see different settings and operations, I’m sorry to hear that you’re in Cali btw, any Mexican who can pick his station will go to Pendleton or Miramar without a second thought lol. I’ve loved the atmosphere out east and in Hawaii tho.
